La 57ª edizione dei Grammy Awards si è svolta l’8 febbraio 2015 allo Staples Center di Los Angeles, California senza particolari sorprese dal punto di vista delle premiazioni ma con un cast davvero stellare. Tre ore di spettacolo caratterizzato da esibizioni top e da outfit che come sempre hanno attirato l’attenzione dei magazine e della rete.
A vincere tutto il vincibile è stato Sam Smith, con un poker composto da Record Of the Year, Song of The Year, Best New Artist e Best Pop Vocal Album. Mica male per il cantante londinese che, ringrazia il suo ex ragazzo che ha ispirato tutti i suoi brani.
Anche the queen Beyoncé ha vinto eccome e si è aggiudicata i premi come Best R&B performance, Best R&B Song e Best Surround Sound Album. Il vincitore più sorprendente forse è stato proprio Beck che ha conquistato il premio come Album of the Year per il suo Morning Phase.
Madonna in versione torero è stata la protagonista del live Living For Love ma anche di un siparietto sul red carpet. Il suo fondoschiena ha preso il sopravvento, guardare per credere. A 56 anni suonati non smette di provocare. (Hai capito Miley?) 
Da segnalare l’esibizione di Usher a Stevie Wonder e la toccante interpretazione di Katy Perry che ha interpretato By the Grace of Lord, un inno contro la violenza domestica nei confronti di donne e uomini. (Anche Barack Obama in un video pre-registrato ha posto l’attenzione su questo tema). Presente anche il trendsetter Pharrell che ha sfoggiato uno stile ‘lobby boy’, forse in omaggio al film Grand Budapest Hotel di Wes Anderson. A chiudere la serata, Beyoncé in compagnia di Common e John Legend ha intonato il brano Take My Hand, Precious Lord.
